We do! We can provide free estimates over the phone or via email. If you would like for us to come to the property we can arrange that as well. For certain projects or smaller jobs we can also offer a bid just reach out to us with the details.
For packing and unpacking services, consider the size of the home and how many rooms there are, if you want fragile items wrapped, how many items need to be packed.
For loading services, consider the size of the home, if there are any flights of stairs and how many, if the driveway is steep or how hard it will be to access the truck, if there are oversized items or workout equipment, if couches recline or if you have recliners, if there are any sleep number beds, if furniture needs to be disassembled.
Unloading services, how big of a truck, how many rooms are putting things in, how far is the truck from the house, is there a steep driveway, do you need furniture put together.
For example, for an average 2 bedroom home to pack with wrapping fragile items and pictures, loading onto a truck that has no obstruction, unloading into another two bedroom house would be approximately 13 hours from start to finish.
We charge by the hour, so booking will confirm that you have our team for the allotted time frame. If we finish the desired services early then we can assist you with other tasks, such as putting together furniture. However, if there is nothing more to do we will only charge you for the hours that we were there. Keep in mind that this is not prorated. So if you booked 4 hours and the services were completed in 3 and a half hours then we will still charge the full 4 hours.
We advise you to overestimate the hours needed. This guarantees that you will have our team long enough to get the job done. We will be as quick and efficient as possible. However, if the job takes longer than the hours that were booked then we have no guarantee that we will have availability to complete the job. If you are unsure, then please reach out to us and we can help you determine an appropriate estimate.
Yes. We are not able to drive the truck for you. We can, however, drive your personal vehicle if needed as long as there are no possessions or household goods in it.
We only provide labor services. So the truck, dolly, blankets, boxes, or tape would need to be provided by you. All of this is something that can be rented or purchased from local establishments such as U-haul.
If you reach out to us before the move with the details of what you have then we can offer suggestions of what to get. We can get everything except the truck for you but will need to know ahead of time and this will be added to your bill.
Our prices do include a travel fee. However, if there is additional travel required between your loading and unloading destination there may be an additional fee required. Just let us know during booking and we will confirm for you. We are upfront and don't want you to have any unexpected charges at the end of your move.
We understand, moving can be so much to handle in general. We have your back though! We will ask questions to determine how we can best assist you.
